How the Relaxed version differs
The five hotels are the product and they all stay. Each one gets a free afternoon or evening. The Shangri-La and Four Seasons lunches, Qasr Al Watan, the Frame, the ferry and Global Village come out.
Every itinerary runs at two paces. Full: three or four stops a day, most meals booked, early starts. Relaxed keeps the same length, the same hotels and the same arrival and departure, and books less into each day: one anchor per half day, later starts, lunch mostly at leisure, and a free afternoon or evening every second day. Either pace can run from the same booking, because the rooms do not change. What changes is tickets, meals and guide hours.

Depart in the evening.
Night of day 2
Abu Dhabi- Day 2Abu Dhabi
Arrival, Abu Dhabi
Met at the airport and driven to Abu Dhabi for breakfast at the Ritz-Carlton. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque mid-morning, then check in at the Emirates Palace and the afternoon free for the pool, the beach or the spa. Dinner in the hotel.
Night of day 3
Palm Jumeirah- Day 3Abu Dhabi – Palm Jumeirah
The Louvre, then Atlantis
The Louvre Abu Dhabi late morning with lunch at the museum. Back to Dubai, check in at Atlantis The Palm, and the evening free. The aquarium and the waterpark are included for guests.
Night of day 4
Al Maha desert- Day 4Al Maha desert
Into the desert
A slow morning at the resort, then out to Al Maha before lunch. Check in, one activity at sunset, dinner at the resort.
Night of day 5
Dubai Marina & JBR- Day 5Dubai Marina & JBR
Desert morning, then Bluewaters
A second activity if wanted, otherwise a free morning. Late checkout, then into the city with lunch at leisure. Check in at the Banyan Tree on Bluewaters and the evening free on the island.
Night of day 6
Jumeirah- Day 6Dubai – Jumeirah
One hour in the old city, then the Bulgari
Late morning, one abra across the creek and the Gold Souk with a private guide, about an hour. Lunch at Al Habtoor Palace, then check in at the Bulgari and an evening in the hotel’s own restaurant.

Downtown and departure
A free morning. The Burj Khalifa at levels 124 and 125 in prime hours and The Dubai Mall, the fountain, and dinner at the Mandarin Oriental. Then the airport.
